Hocking Hills is considered to be foothills of the Appalacian Mountain region. A pouplar tourist area with lots of natural gorges & rock formations. The state park system here has about as many visitors yearly as the Grand Canyon!
It is NOTHING like the rest of Ohio.
There are many other activities in the area including; ATV, Zip-Lines, Canoeing, Putt-Putt, Regular Golf, Hiking, Fishing, Swimming, Boating, Rock Climbing & Rappelling, Air Tours, Naturalist Tours, Haunted Hocking events, Antique Malls, Shopping & Fine Dining.

Additional information about the area

Excursions: From 1 to 8 hour long rides - inluding stop-n-hike rides to Rock House State Park & Conkle's Hollow Nature Preserve. These rides involve an extended break for you to hike the area, as the horses are not permitted to enter. Your Wrangler will stay with & attend the horses while your gone. Bring a sack lunch, or arrange for a picnic - you'll need some grub.
Traveling by car:
From St Rt 33 - Take the Rt 180 exit SOUTH about 4 miles; bear LEFT at the Y onto Rt 678; follow about 4 miles to stop sign at Rt 374; turn RIGHT & go 3/10 of a mile to the 1st road on your LEFT - that is Keister & it becomes Keifel. Follow 3.1 miles to our driveway on RIGHT. Signs will direct you to the right house.

We are a small public stable; a great place for a "Trail-Riding Adventure". Specializing in Individuals, Couples & small groups, of 1 to 4 Adult & Teen Riders (Novices 16 & up). Appointments Required!
