Description:
The "Centro Equestre Entre Amigos" is located in the Herdade de Montalvo south of Lisbon, between the beach of Comporta and the town of Alcácer do Sal. Under German-Portuguese management, we offer riding lessons, therapeutic riding, rides and tourist riding programs all year round, during school holidays mainly international horse riding holiday camps for kids and teens. From now onwards we have another non-paid internship place available for a young woman aged 18 and over (e.g. high school graduate). We expect help with all work (cleaning boxes and paddocks, feeding / caring for and moving the horses). We offer free board and lodging, as well as riding support.

Qualifications / Requirements
Are you a positive person, open-minded and passionate about horses? Sociable, hardworking, inquisitive and curious to meet new people and broaden your horizons in Portugal? These are the most important requirements, because our name says it all (Entre Amigos = among friends). Good riding knowledge is desirable. Max. 75 kg.

Small and motivated team of Quinta Lusitânia is looking for support for daily chores with and around our beloved 4-legged friends. Your duties are: - daily taking care of the horses incl. mocking out, feeding,... - maintenance of stables, tack and farm - preparation of the horses for riding lessons and trail rides - assisting in beginner´s lessons, accompanying of trail rides Your plus: - help with the training of the horses+riding - possibility to learn natural horsemanship+ bitless riding - cosy accommodation with view to the horses and food - one day off per week - familiar atmosphere More infos on our website
