Description:
We are an international community farm and permaculture project in the mountains of the western Algarve (between Monchique and Aljezur). We keep horses and other farm animals and welcome helpers who love working with animals. Help with: - Daily care of our horses and animals: feeding, grooming, mucking out, daily routines - Helping around the farm and permaculture gardens - Spending time with the animals and keeping them well We offer: a bed and three simple meals a day, free of charge; space for your own tent or campervan; a warm international community. About 3-4 hours of help a day, 5 days a week, two days off to explore. No experience needed, just reliability and a love for animals. Minimum stay 2 weeks.

Description:
To support our team, we are looking for a friendly, outgoing and hard-working young woman (aged around 18–25) who would like to spend a few weeks in Portugal. In exchange for free board and lodging, as well as horse riding (lessons and trail rides), we expect you to help with all tasks relating to the horses and with running our summer camp. We are looking for help from now (or a little later) until the end of July.

Qualifications / Requirements

Description:
The "Centro Equestre Entre Amigos" is located in the Herdade de Montalvo south of Lisbon, between the beach of Comporta and the town of Alcácer do Sal. Under German-Portuguese management, we offer riding lessons, therapeutic riding, rides and tourist riding programs all year round, during school holidays mainly international horse riding holiday camps for kids and teens. From end of September onwards we have another non-paid internship place available for a young woman aged 18 and over (e.g. high school graduate). We expect help with all work (cleaning boxes and paddocks, feeding / caring for and moving the horses). We offer free board and lodging, as well as riding support.

Qualifications / Requirements
Are you a positive person, open-minded and passionate about horses? Sociable, hardworking, inquisitive and curious to meet new people and broaden your horizons in Portugal? These are the most important requirements, because our name says it all (Entre Amigos = among friends). Good riding knowledge is desirable. Max. 75 kg.
