30 horses grace the pastures around the cabins. These include:Peruvian Pasos, Missouri Fox Trotters, Tenn. Walkers. Hereford and Angus cattle are raised here.
Deer, turkey, eagles are often seen.
Other offers and explanations
1 free night for every week booked. 3,4,5 day riding packages are offered as well as 2 hour and 4 hour trips.Each day's ride covers new territory. Riders are encouraged to try several horses.

Western tack and saddle bags provided with snacks and water included. Expect to travel above a walk. Once riders have learned to ride in the gait it's easy to cover 20 miles!

The larger, Cedar, cabin offers 2 private downstairs bedrooms (Q-sized and 2 twins) Upstairs a double and twin bed, in addition the living area has a daybed and Q futon. Full kitchen w/ utensils, bath with shower, heating /AC, BBQ grill, porch, all linens and towels, paper products, charcoal, coffee, teas, fire ring, picnic table provided.

The Log cabin faces the Vilander Bluffs-highest on the Meramec. Full kitchen, bath w/ tub, 1 double bed downstairs and 2 singles upstairs. Both cabins have DVD players.
