You are dialing from another country?
1. Dial your international access code - usually 00 in Europe and 011 in the US
2. Dial the country code - the digits directly after the + sign.
3. Dial the number - omitting the number, usually a zero, in brackets (if there is one).
You can tell whether you are dialing a number in your own country if the digits directly after the + sign correspond to your country code. For example the country code for the US is 1, thus if you are dialing from the US the 1 immediately after the plus sign can be ignored and the area code dialed first.
