We have a lot of flat land that is farmland that is around the hunting lodge. We grow alfalfa, corn, milo, wheat, sunflowers, soybeans, and some cotton. We have very few trees so you can see many, many miles in either direction. The pastures we will be riding through is slightly rolling with some pretty deep gullies. When we get down to the river bottom, there are a lot more trees. It is beautiful country and you would enjoy it. Also, we have the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets

Excursions: To give you a short itinery of our ride, it is as follows: Day 1: You will come to the lodge in the afternoon, get settled in and get your horse ready for the next day. We will have a big supper that evening and you will meet your TRAIL BOSS. Day 2: Up at 6:00 am, have a hearty breakfast, get horse ready to leave and start the trailride at 8:00 am. We will ride 6 to 8 hours that day. We will have a noon meal on the trail and have afternoon games, chuckwagon supper, and evening entertainment. This night we will sleep under the stars. Day 3: Get up at 6:00 am, have a hearty breakfast and have a 6 to 8 hour ride back to the hunting lodge. Noon meal will be on the trail and when we get back to the hunting lodge, we will put our horses up and have a hearty supper. Relax after a hard days ride and go to bed when ready. Day 4: Up at 7:00, have a hearty breakfast and get ready to leave to go home. MINIMUM OF 10 RIDERS NEEDED TO HAVE A TRAILRIDE.

Traveling by car:	From Kismet, Kansas: Starting at General Store, Go north on Main Street approximately 1 mile until you hit the curve, then go west 1 1/2 miles to road T, then go North on road T to Road 17, then turn west and go 5 miles to the corner of road O & 17. The hunting lodge is on the corner of Road O & 17. A car is necessary
Traveling by plane:	If you can get your horse on your plane, we can pick you up at the Liberal, Kansas airport. Pickup service is possible
Traveling by train:	If you can get your horse on the train, we can pick you up at the Garden City, Kansas railway station. Pickup service is possible
Traveling by boat/ferry:	This is just not possible
