Guanacaste is in the northwestern part of Costa Rica, famouns for its dry tropical forests, beaches and cattle country. There are three distinct seasons - dry, green and rainy. Guanacaste is the most popular part of the country for tourism, close to beaches, mountains and volcanoes. It is also famous for its fiestas and colorful horse Topes.

We have two shaded outside picaderos (rings) with covered viewing area, a round pen for training and and extensive trails and ranch roads to ride on.

The Painted Pony is located at Finca Casagua and Casagua Horses Natural Horsemanship Training Center just minutes from Guanacastes beautiful beaches and a short trip to mountains and volcanos.
