Excursions:Conchas and Ute Lakes are approx. 40 minutes drive north of the ranch. You can rent a boat, go water-skiing, fish or swim. There are several nice beaches. Billy The Kid Museum in Fort Sumner is an hour's drive from the ranch. American Quarter Horse Heritage Center & Museum is in Amarillo, TX. |

If you fly into either Albuquerque, NM, or Amarillo, TX, you can take the Greyhound bus to Tucumcari where we can pick you up. We do recommend that you rent a car to give you some freedom of movement in the afternoons. |

Details of the Riding areaWe take up to 5 guests at a time, wanting to experience life on a cattle ranch, ride and help us check on our 150 Longhorn cows and their calves. At times we drive them to new pastures. |

More details of the propertyWe ride in the morning, 3 - 5 hours, to check on the cattle. We drive the cattle to new pastures and do all other work involved in a ranch. |
