In the extreme south of Patagonia Chile, the town of Puerto Natales rests at the gateway to the Torres del Paine National Park, on the coast of Last Hope Sound, three hours North of the infamous Straight of Magellan.
Puerto Natales is home to more than 120 species of birds, including Chilean Flamingos, Black Necked Swans and more. Torres del Paine is an incredible natural wonder of South America, with impressive and humbling views of massive hanging glaciers, turquoise and aquamarine glacial lakes, snaking rivers,granite monoliths, deep forests, and wind swept pampas

Traveling by plane:
International flights may fly into Santiago, Chile, then to Punta Arenas, followed by a three hour auto transfer to Puerto Natales. OR
Santiago direct to Puerto Natales OR
Buenos Aires to El Calafate, 5 hour transfer to Puerto Natales

Traveling by boat/ferry:
Navimag from Puerto Montt, Chile. Takes 4 days

    Criollo horses are the preferred breed in Argentina and Chile. They are resiliant, hearty, level headed and sure footed. The Criollo may have more endurance than the Arabian in long distance races
