Excursions:We offer riding packages from 6 nights to 14 nights. Each package can be tailor made just for you. Or, you can take one of our regular packages as advertised. We do tours into Lesotho to view the magnificant Katse dam, we do a wonderful tour into a Big5 Game farm an hour from the farm, and an assortment of other interesting trips. A walk to a cave is a speciality trip and introduces the traveller to rural Africa. The occupants of the cave are fascinating, warm, friendly people and happily show visitors their ancestral ground and introduce guests to their cultural beliefs and ways. It is fascinating and well worth the visit. We ride to a number of historic farms and meet the heart of people who make the wonderful nation tick. A tapestry of variety is offered to our special guests who we thoroughly spoil and that is the reason why we prefer to keep the tours to under 12 people. Once you have experienced this kind of hospitality you will be back for the next package! |
Traveling by plane: |
One would fly to OTambo Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa, where you will be met by the owners of the Guest Farm and driven to the lodge. We stop on the way for a bite to eat and some refreshments and one gets a wonderful idea of the country and its incredible open spaces on the drive down.
