We are located in Georgia, in the great Caucasus mountain range.
Omalo, the main village is in the heart of the Tusheti National Park in which we are riding. Some beautiful rare flower and animal species (endemic) can be seen.
To reach the Tusheti area we need 2 days from Tbilisi, capital of Georgia. Thus we offer on the way to visit some places of interest.
The second day we follow a path carved in the rocks. A 4WD car is obligatory. We drive over a pass at 3000m high. The Tusheti is accessible only from June to mid of October because of the big quantity of snow.Some families live there all the year and have to be self sufficient more than 7 months. That’s why this region remains very authenticable.

Excursions:


We offer some riding and hiking tours from 5 days to 2 weeks. We trek over many passes with terrific sceneries, we cross some torrents, we camp near a lake, we go through high mountain pasture villages like Dartlo, we walk or ride on mountain crests and along some scenic valleys.
Both our clothe relationship with the local people and our language capacity (we speak French, English, German, Russian, Georgian) allow us to put our guests in contact with the local people which is the last semi nomadic ethnic group in Georgia.
We feast at a Georgian table, we share the shepherds’ way of life and test some new fresh cheeses (for the daredevils, you can try to milk some goats and produce your own cheese), we observe some golden eagles or maybe a brown bear. We are living in and with the wild nature that offers the Tusheti.
As the Tusheti remains a secluded place and there is no road access in the region, we have to be self sufficient during our treks. We welcome only small groups (8 max).

The Tusheti is the most remote Mountain region in Georgia.
Local people are semi nomadic.
Views are wonderful as we ride between 2000m and 3000m in alpine pastures and through villages.

    They are traditional tush houses in stones (slate) and woods.
    It is a very secluded region and we offer to discover the very old tush traditions and way of life.
    In the Tusheti region there is no running water and no electrcity.
    WC outside. No bathrooms.
    But what a beautiful scenery!
