Traveling by car:

Traveling by train:
The ranch is located on the edge of the town of Orkhon Jimsnii, in Selenge aimag, a comfortable overnight train ride north from Ulaanbaatar on the Trans-Mongolian Railroad. The train leaves from Ulaanbaatar every evening at 7:35 pm. We can arrange to meet you in Ulaanbaatar the day before or the morning of your departure and buy the train tickets. A train ticket costs 11,600 togrogs, approximately US$9.75. On the train, you will have a berth in a sleeper cabin. The train arrives in Orkhon at about 3 a.m. We are met at the station with horses or a horse-cart, and then it’s a 20-minute ride to the ranch.

The return train leaves from Orkhon every night at 10:20 pm and arrives in Ulaanbaatar at 7:00 am.
