You can find us close to CHRANI in the south of the PELOPONESE between KALAMATA and KORONI, a picturesque fishing village.
CHRANI is a small coastal village with beach, typical restaurants, cafes (with wifi/internet access), small supermarkets and moped-hire catering for all tourist needs.
Our riding school can be found in a beautiful location in unspoilt and tranquil countryside at the foot of the Likodimo mountain. We are surrounded by olive trees with an amazing view across the sea to the Mani mountains.

There is a wealth of fascinating archaeological and historical sites in the surrounding area.

Excursions:


There are plenty of sandy or pebbled beaches to choose from all along the coast. Chrani's 2km-long sandy beach is a short walk from the riding school.

The Venetian fortresses of Koroni, Pilos and Methoni; the extensive archaeological sites of the city of Ancient Messini and the Palace of Nestor all lie within a radius of 50km.

Daytrips can also be taken to other sites of interest such as Mistras, the stalagtites of the caves on Mani, Olympia and other historical treasures.

Insider tip:
There are many other fascinating things to see which are not mentioned in any guidebook and I am always happy to give you suggestions.
The surrounding hills are ideal for exploring on foot or on mountainbikes. Mountainbike hire available.

Traveling by car:
By car the best route is by ferry from Italy - Ancona, Venice or Triest - to the Greek port of Patras.

You can get more info from any travel agent or on the internet.

Traveling by plane:
Direct flights from Germany to Kalamata available from May to October (for other points of departure check the internet).

From Athens, around 5-hr journey by bus or taxi to Chrani via Kalamata.

Günter has been running a surf- and sailing school in Koroni (3km-long sandy beach) for over 20 years.
He rents not only surfing gear and sports catamarans but also sea kayaks so that you can paddle around the cape to Koroni's picturesque harbour.

    Our 3 Greek Arravani horses (about 14 hands) are Naturally Gaited horses and very comfortable to ride. All horses are friendly, placid and safe to handle. So they are suitable for children and adults.

    The holiday home is suitable for 5 people. The livingroom/bedroom (40 sq m) is equipped with kitchen- and dining-area and a double bed. The bedroom has a single and bunk bed. Satellite TV and separate shower-room with toilet. For cooler days there is an oil-stove which heats the house up instantly.
