Located in the "safe zone" Friths is in Salem and located near to many bars, nightclubs as well as grocery stores. When you come to Montserrat you will feel like you have the whole island to yourself, it is not on the cruise ship circuit and is not a tourist trap. Montserrat is one of the only places left in the world where you are truly safe from crime. You can feel free to explore the island by yourself, mingle with locals and take a midnight stroll without fear for personal safety.

Excursions:


It is possible to tour the Montserrat Volcano Observatory for a guided tour of the facility along with a history of our current volcanic eruptive cycle. Also there are island tours by boat and SCUBA and snorkeling, also mountain hiking.

Traveling by plane:
All traffic in and out of Montserrat travels through Antigua. It can be difficult sometimes to book transportation from Antigua to Montserrat, if you have problems call us and we will make arrangements for you. We will pick you up from the Montserrat airport

Additional Animals on the property:


2 dogs, cat and various rescued foster animals that come and go as they are rescued and find homes. The last one was a goat kid that was bottle fed. All of our pets and horses are rescued animals.

Our horses are small but sturdy Arabians with a little Paso Fino mixed in. They have been trained soley for trail riding and are gentle and good natured without being hard mouthed.
