Rancho Los Baños, situated 55 miles south of southeast Arizona in safe and secure northeastern Sonora state, Mexico, is located at the foot of the Sierra Madre, Mexico's Rocky Mountains, with a range in elevation from 7,450 feet above sea level in the high Sierras, to 3,200 feet in canyon country, which includes breathtaking El Cajon Canyon. Our 30,000 acres of unspoiled wilderness offers terrain and topography that is thrilling, challenging, unique and remote, with otherworldly scenery and exotic landscapes that are exclusive to our region, found nowhere else. The land is full of canyons, vertical sierras, mid-elevation hills and rocky river beds. Often called “some of the wildest country you will ever see” and "a land lost in time," the ranch offers exceptional trail and backcountry horseback riding in the Sonoran/Chihuahuan Deserts. Our diverse desert habitats are home to numerous flora and fauna, some of which can only be found here, with combinations of life that exist only here.
